La Direction de #VegasBitchNews tient à s'excuser des délais entourant le dernier article de sa série entourant l'analyse des forces et faiblesse de la ligue. Le dernière division à analyser en est une plus difficile, de loin celle avec le meilleur noyau d'équipe dans l'immédiat avec LA et Vegas, mais aussi une qui sera pendant longtemps une division dominante avec la qualité des jeunes joueurs qui se trouvent dans les autres équipes. Nous voulons aussi faire attention au maintient d'une bonne relation avec les DG de sa Division. Mais à la guerre comme à la guerre, on va se dire les vraies chose en espérant que personne ne se mette à chigner comme Buffalo ;)
Los Angeles:
Année après année on se demande comment il fait ? Il y a asurément un talent indéniable mais en plus la chance tourne de son bord dans les moments crutiaux comme l'an passé aux UFA, aucun de ses joueurs principaux est devenu libre. Los Angeles à dominé le classement l'an passé dans l'ouest jusqu'a ce que Vegas lui raffle la pôle position(et à STL du même coup) dans la fin de saison. Laissant aisni les deux matamor se mettre à mort, Saint-Louis sortant vainqueur, pour ensuite se faire balayer contre Vegas. Les KIngs compte encore sur un noyau de haut calibre pour les amener loin cette année, ils sont bien manoeuvré leur période d'échange avant le Draft en soutirant le gardien Fleury de Edmonton contre le jeune Nedeljovic qu'ils avaient soutiré de Seattle quelques jours auparavant. Toujours aucune idée comment au passage LA s'est retrouvé avec les 5e et 8e choix total au dernier Draft. Seule bonne nouvelle pour ses adversaires est que les KIngs ont sélectionné Sharangovich et Guenther qui deviendront des monnaies d'échanges sous peu. Reste à voir aussi si les Kings auront la même chance aux signatures avec les Kopitar, Burns, Landeskog, Fleury, Ekholm qui sont à sogner cette année.
Winnipeg :
Les Jets sont entre deux tranches de pain, un genre de jambon mal vieillit. Pas assez fort pour gagner le titre de sandwich délicieux, mais demeurent meilleurs que le Baloney. Il y a des atouts de haut calibre dans l'alignement avec les Marner, Suzuki, Werenski et Lindholm. Ceux-ci sont entourés d'une énorme couche de jeunes qu'on se dit toujours : Ishhh lui s'il peut exploser mais que ca explose jamais autant qu'on voudrait. Reconnu comme étant un Gourmand dans ses négotiations , DG Giroux ne s'en laisse pas imposé et monre petit à petit les marches vers le succès. Mais son succès demeure entre les main du développement des ses Baloney.
Edmonton :
Je me suis souvent demandé ou s'en allait cette reconstruction entamé il y a 2 ans. Les Oilers s'étant départie de plusieurs joueurs d'impacts comme Barkov, Hamilton, Fleury, Bergeron. L'attaque de l'équipe sera longue à reconstruire autour du noyau actuel qui ne compte pas de vrai King Pin à l'exception du Top Prospect Lucas Raymond. En contrepartie la défensive de l'équipe sera pendant longtemps l'une des plus solide de la ligue avec les Jones, Sergachev, Pionk, Hannifin, mais surtout en raison de la qualité des jeunes qui se joigne à cette troupe en Drysdale et Sanderson. Il sera intéressant de voir combien de temps encore DG Hamel continuera de construire sa banque de jeunes avant de passer en mode attaque et espérer un jour mettre la main sur le grand titre. Nous souhaitons tous pour lui que Nedeljevic n'était pas un feu de paille de la Caroline, après 1 partie cette année a Detroit sa fiche est de 6.40 de moyenne. Mais si Pat Gagné a dit que c'était lui qui se faisait avoir ... pas le choix de croire que c'est vrai...
Vancouver :
DG Belanger est un homme qui sait patienter jusqu'a ce qu'il obtiennent ce qu'il veut pour ses joueurs. Une transaction avait avorté au Draft de 2020 entre Pittsburgh et lui concernant Helleybuck. Avec du recul il avait bien fait d'attendre voyant la petite monnaie soutiré à Saint-Louis. Dans la comparaison du Sandwich ou Winnipeg est le Jambon, Vancouver se trouve à être la tranche du dessus. Cette tranche du dessus ne se mouille jamais trop, ne se trouve jamais écraser au fond et est celle qui domine le sandwich. La qualité du noyau de jeune fait tout simplement peur. La majorité de la tranche d'age de moins de 25 ans de l'aignement est de gros calibre et à cela s'ajoute les noms des Byfield, Caufield, Byram, Zegras. Dans un horizon de 3 ans maximum , les jeunes Canucks seront épeurant à affronter. Ne manquera qu'un gardien de qualité pour supporter l'équipe, fort probable qu'il pourra en négocier un moins cher que Helleybuck.
Las Vegas
Terminons ce tour d'horizon par les champions en titre de la dernière Coupe LDVP. Vegas ne s'était pas imaginé gagner l'an passé, ce fut une belle sur^rise de gagner les deux dernière série en seulement 9 matchs, preuve du poids de son rouleau compresseur. L'attaque devrait encore être dans les forces de la ligue cette année et même si la brigade défensive ne se compare pas à celle des Maple Leafs, la présence de Vasilevski et Markstrom en relève devrait compenser un peu. Vegas compte sur un des noyaux de jeunes avec un impacrts immédiat en plus d'une relève intéressante en défensive avec l'arrivée des Lundqvist, Rathbone et Perunovich. Beaucoup de chemin à faire avant d'espérer mettre la main sur une deuxième coupe de suite mais fort à parier que Vegas sera investit sans relâche vers cet objectif.
