Vegas sera très certainement un spectateur actif pendant le WJC 2023-2024.
Au delà d’être au sommet du classement de la Ligue LDVP à l’approche de Noël, Vegas a aussi la grande fierté de sa banque de jeunes joueurs qui risquent d’attirer l’attention au WJC.
Les moins connus seront le cerbère Niklas Kokko qui sera le gardien partant de l’équipe Finlandaise.
Mention honorable également à l’espoir de Coyotes Julian Lutz qui sera l’un des seuls joueurs repêchés dans l’alignement Allemand.
Deux défenseurs de qualité s’inscrivent ensuite au tableau de Vegas :
Tom Willander sélectionné au 11e rang total par les Canucks en 2023

Lane Hutson pour les Americains qui devraient être le pilier de l’équipe à la pointe. Les rumeurs disent qu’il sera meilleur que Cale Makar ou au minimum aussi bon que Craig Rivest.
A l’attaque, Vegas a une releve de haut calibre:
Jiri Kulich qui domine la AHL et qui l’an dernier avait été l’une des raisons principales de la présence de la Tchequie en finale contre le Canada.
S’ajoute également deux attaquants Américains qui auront beaucoup de pression pour leader l’attaque du pays :
Frank Nazar qui sera le prochain meilleur ami de Connor Bedard à Chicago et qui est comparé à Mitch Marner par les recruteurs professionnels.
Cutter Gauthier qui domine partout ou il passe depuis sa sélection au 5e rang en 2022 et qui pourrait devenir le nouveau meilleur ami de Matvei Mitchkov à Philadelphie.
Vegas tient à offrir ses meilleurs voeux à tous ses collègues DG et leurs souhaite un WJC plein d’espoir ( la pognez-vous?)
